Any decent players we get/produce won't stay around long enough for a slow build, they will see this season all our deficiencies and as we keep sorting one area and another decent player will demand to leave and create a problem in another area.
Patience will be our downfall in this modern transient game. It is a method of roulette that has managed so far to lose us two of the best pieces of the puzzle we've had in years when they are thinking the club is going forwards. Then they discover that is not the case and fuck off.
It's an extravagant game that can only bring you rewards if you are maintaining a decent collection of playing staff.
........we've never achieved that in all our history and all our success has come from minor injury issues throughout a season.

A left back....we are a goal a game waiting to happen down that side with Arthur and Cress.
Defensive midflielder (a unit)....If Rice +/or Noble gets injured we are fu*ked.... which we know will happen.
Less concerned up front...

If we do bring in a DMF or an additional striker, we still have the weakness at left back and the continual problem of Reid/Ogbonna.
I fully expect we will be discussing the same fucking positions this time next year,thanks to those tight fisted porn merchants.

we spent 100m last time out, so if you buy the right players you just have to tweak it or freshen it up.
lose a couple add a couple, as long as the couple that come in are better than the ones that go. This is something that hasn't happen at our place for a while .

Some strength in midfield is a must. We are in danger of being out-muscled by the likes of Bournemouth and Watford.
If we can replace Hernandez with someone who fits better with our style, then that would be great. Otherwise, he's not the worst option to have.
